Ghadaq
About us
Ghadaq is a commercial store that sells livestock and the service of carrying out the sacrifice, at a published price. You choose your product at a clear price and we take care of everything for you: choosing the animal, the slaughter and the distribution, then we send you the documentation so you can see your order was done as you wished. We currently operate in Malawi, Tanzania, Nigeria and Makkah.
How we deal with you
What we offer is a paid commercial service: you buy a product or service from a store at a published price; you are not donating to a charity, which is why we do not issue donation receipts or tax-exemption certificates. When you order, you buy what you chose and appoint us to carry it out on your behalf or on behalf of the person you name. The intention is yours, whether aqiqah, a vow or sadaqah, and we carry out what you chose as you specified.
How we carry out your order
We buy livestock directly from sources we know and choose animals that are healthy and meet the Islamic conditions and the product's specifications. We carry out the work with field teams and specialised partners we choose and follow step by step, and we remain responsible to you for the work matching what you bought. Umrah on behalf and water services in Makkah are carried out by our partners, licensed providers in Saudi Arabia, while we handle the booking, follow-up and documentation.
Products and prices
Each product page shows its specifications and price before you buy. The price includes carrying out the work and the documentation, with no hidden fees, unless the page says otherwise. Prices are shown in your country's currency and may change from time to time with market and exchange rates; the price you commit to is the one shown when you pay. In share-based projects (such as wells and mosques) you buy a share at a set price in a project we carry out, and work starts once all shares are taken.
Order confirmation
Your order is confirmed once payment is complete (in full, or the first instalment where offered) and you receive the "Booking confirmed" message. To carry out your order accurately, please check the names and intention, and add at least two contact numbers (one of a family member if possible). Each work is carried out for one person, unless the product page says otherwise.
Payment
You pay through secure, approved online payment gateways, or by transfer with an uploaded receipt that we review. Your card details are handled by the payment gateway directly and we do not keep them. Some products can be paid in two instalments; the rest is due once the first documentation reaches you.
Execution and documentation
Umrah on behalf is performed only for someone on whose behalf it is valid (deceased or unable). Documentation for aqiqah, vows, sacrifices and Umrah on behalf reaches you within 24 hours of execution, and may take up to 48 hours in peak seasons, busy periods and emergencies. Some products, such as special or large sizes, need extra time to source, so we agree the execution date with you. Wells and water connections take two weeks to two months. We send the documentation on WhatsApp so you have proof your order was done. If an amount remains on the order, you first receive a 10-second clip viewable once, then the full documentation after the remaining amount is paid.
Changes, cancellation and refunds
You can change, replace or cancel your order until 01:00 am Tanzania time on the day of execution. After that, we will have bought the animal and set it aside for you, so it cannot be cancelled. If you cancel before then, we file the refund request the same day; the amount is returned to the same payment method minus the online payment fees, and reaches you within up to 15 business days depending on your bank. If we are unable to carry out your order for any reason, you may choose another date or a full refund.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details private. You can delete your account at any time at ghadaqplus.com/en/delete-account. Prices are shown for your country; if it cannot be determined accurately (for example behind a VPN), the international price list applies.
Limits of liability
We do our best to carry out your order on time. If it is delayed by circumstances beyond our control (such as epidemics, government decisions, unrest or disasters), we tell you right away and agree on a solution with you. We rely on the details you enter in your order, so please review them before paying; we are not responsible for results of incorrect or incomplete details. In all cases our liability does not exceed the amount paid for the order.
Intellectual property
The texts, images, designs and the Ghadaq mark are ours; please do not use them without permission. The website may not be used for any unlawful purpose or to abuse offers.
Updates to these terms
These terms apply to ghadaqplus.com and to orders placed on WhatsApp; completing an order means you accept them. We may update them from time to time, and the version published at the time of your order applies.
